Has the community migrated to a new site?  If you are a manager, please email me the new address or post it here.

Hope everyone is well.

Looks like it may have just fizzled out.  Sad.

Yeah. I'd hate to blame it on MSN's decision to shut down their groups, but it does seem that since we came here the whole thing has died. Anyone (assuming that anyone is still here) have any ideas on how to spark some interest? (No pun intended!)

Well, on the plus side, I've accepted about 5 new memberships in the last couple of days. On the neutral side (there is really no negative about it), at least three of them were current members joining under different email accounts, so only a couple of the new members are actually new.

I've submitted our site to Google and Yahoo search engines, and I've made sure we're active in the Webs directory (which is something I somehow neglected to do before this, to my embarrassment).

So maybe we'll begin getting some action.

Of course, it always helps to post and comment on a regular basis!

If this site migrates, please keep me in the distribution list.   While I am now only able to browse every few months, I'd like to stay in touch.

One feature of MSN was that posts for selected threads could be emailed to members.   Keeping the community in people's inbox, without inundating people's inbox, may increase site traffic and contributions.  If members must logon in order to view threads, member traffic may decrease.

I am working on another composition which I hope to post around New Year's.

Hope everyone is well.

I doubt that migrating to another provider would help much. Anyway, just because one of our members is a gypsy doesn't mean we have to start a whole caravan!

I agree, it would help if we were notified in our email boxes of new posts; I haven't found anything that would allow that to happen yet. I don't know if that's an option, or if they're working on that capability, or what.

I'm looking forward to your new post. I hope you get some good responses (both in quantity and quality).

I'm still kind of learning my way around this site myself, at least as a manager. I just discovered what appears to be a setting that allows members to be notified whenever an update is posted! If this does what I think it does, then you should all receive this reply in your inboxes, as Topol suggested.

Including my own, I hope, which will let me know if it works.
